In December, Wunderlich-Malec invested in broadening their engineering strength on the Siemens Totally Integrated Automation platform, through the certification of 9 engineers. Through the rigorous certification process which includes both written testing and hands-on programming testing, Wunderlich-Malec is now better positioned to deliver high quality solutions with the Siemens world-class product line on a wide range of industrial applications. The certification process consists of three steps - Assessment, Training, and Certification Testing. This is a list of the top 100 system integrators among companies listed in the CFE Media Global System Integrator Database and is based solely on total system integration revenue. The annual list of SI Giants is released at the end of December with CFE Media’s Global System Integrator Report. Wunderlich-Malec Engineering and OSIsoft Launch VIP Tower Solution to Power Internet of Things at Industrial Edge

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. and SAN LEANDRO, Calif. – December 12, 2017 – Wunderlich-Malec Engineering (WM) and OSIsoft LLC, today announced VIP Tower, an Internet of Things (IoT) gateway solution for the industrial and utility markets. The VIP Tower is a software bundle that combines OSIsoft’s PI System with high-end engineering company WM’s VIP Services software tool to create an industrial QR code that allows employees at any location – plant floors, pipelines, dams and other remote locations – complete access to maintenance records, compliance documents and near real-time data at any point while onsite for specific assets. Wunderlich-Malec Joins New England Lean Consortium

Confirming Wunderlich-Malec's commitment to Lean Manufacturing, the Winslow, Maine facility has become a member of the New England Lean Consortium located in Kennebunk, ME. The Winslow manufacturing facility opened in September 2001 to provide protective relay and control panels for the Power industry and process skips to the industrial markets. MSOE Regent Neal K. Wunderlich ’74, P.E. receives an Honorary Doctor of Engineering degree.

Nearly 80 undergraduate and graduate students in engineering majors, the Rader School of Business and School of Nursing will receive their bachelor’s or master’s degrees at Milwaukee School of Engineering’s (MSOE) Winter Commencement, Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Kern Center. MSOE Regent Neal K. Wunderlich ’74, P.E. will receive an Honorary Doctor of Engineering degree. Wunderlich founded what is today Wunderlich-Malec Engineering in Eden Prairie, Minnesota in 1981. He grew the company to more than 350 employees who provide advanced engineering, system integration and fabrication for a variety of industries across the globe. The company has offices in 20 states and 30 cities as well as employees working internationally.
