Wunderlich-Malec joined Emerson and Data Center Frontier on Thursday, July 30 for a webinar on industrial-grade measurement instrumentation in data centers. The focus was on when measurement gets designed in. Building it into systems from the start gives project teams information that retrofitted instrumentation usually cannot.
What the session covered
The session looked at measurement across flow, pressure, temperature, level, and fluid quality, and how a measurement strategy supports system validation, troubleshooting, and long-term reliability in cooling and supporting infrastructure.
Emerson covered the instrumentation side, including how purpose-built and pre-configured solutions reduce design complexity and speed up deployment. Wunderlich-Malec covered design and integration, specifically how standardized instrumentation and commissioning readiness reduce project variability across a build program.
