CHALLENGE: Develop and install an integrated supervisory system for a large airport.

SOLUTION: Completed system gives operators a common interface from which they receive and download data to and from twenty-six other systems airport-wide. These other systems, installed starting in the 1970s, were originally purchased from different manufacturers and came from entirely different technical generations. The new, integrated system features common operator controls, data formats and terminology.
