CHALLENGE: Develop and install an access control solution for a hospital site, OB ward, pharmacy, emergency room and other high-risk areas.

SOLUTION: The completed system incorporates an intercom system that allows hospital personnel to communicate to persons outside the security area. The system will also roll unanswered intercom calls to roaming guards’ radios and allow the guards to open doors from their radio keypads. In addition, the system allows the hospital to issue temporary access cards for families of patients in the OB ward.
