Description:
Since 1982, Wunderlich-Malec has successfully designed and implemented numerous projects for commercial, industrial and government clients. A key to our continued success, growth and repeat business is our flexibility and depth of talent.
Wunderlich-Malec has extensive experience providing total turnkey project support for our customers. Our project teams are responsible for engineering, project scheduling, installation assistance and review, factory testing and simulation prior to installation, start-up assistance, checkout support and training.
This position will be responsible for developing and implementing control systems (logic software and hardware) to meet integrated systems requirements.
Our applications span the globe in a multitude of vertical markets including food and beverage, semiconductor, oil and gas, automotive, chemical, pulp and paper, utilities, and many more.
Requirements:
- Programming & configuration of Allen-Bradley PLC-5, SLC and ControlLogix processors required (3+ yrs exp)
- Cimplicity SCADA experience preferred
- GE 90/30 and 90/70 PLC programming experience a plus
- iFix, Wonderware, RSView or iconics a plus
- SQL Administration experience a plus
- BSEE degree required
Sr. Controls Engineer
Description: This position will be to provide programming and controls engineering support in a team environment.
Engineering responsibilities include:
1) PLC programming with emphasis on Allen-Bradley PLC-5 in an industrial automation environment. This includes; documentation of programs, implementation, start-up and support.
2) Also, responsible for automation control systems and integration projects for clients in industries such as food and beverage, bio-medical or semi-conductors.
3) Candidate needs to possess good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of co-workers, management and clients.

Requirements:
- Must have an in-depth understanding of control systems, components, ladder logic programming, SCADA programming and their applications, and AutoCAD software
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience with instrumentation and controls design as well as PLC/HMI required
- Experience with project management a plus
- Associate degree in Control Systems Design/Instrumentation or closely related. Degree in engineering essential
Controls Engineer
Description:
This position will provide PLC programming and controls engineering support in a team environment.

Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in the industry
- Must have a Bachelor's degree, preferable BSEE, chemical, computer or mechanical
- Must have knowledge on controls and instrumentation
- PLC programming with experience on GE & Modicon PLSs
- Familar with HMIs in iFix and Wonderware preferred
